印度德里理工学院Ashok K Ganguli教授应邀将于2020年12月8日下午16:00-16:45在花江校区十六教302室作专题讲座,讲座题为:Design of nanostructures for photoelectrochemical applications。讲座将通过腾讯会议(会议号:444380817)同步线上进行。欢迎师生踊跃参与。
摘要:
The morphology and size of nanostructures can be tuned by controlling the reaction conditions such as pH, solvent, temperature, presence of additives such as ions, surfactants, and have been widely studied by our group. We discuss growth and characterization of nanorods and anisotropic structures, core-shell structures and facet controlled synthesis of nanostructured materials. Nanoheterostructures of semiconductors (core/shell) or with n-p junctions for the separation of photogenerated charge carriers makes them good candidates for visible-light photocatalysis and water splitting[4-6]. Metal, alloy, metal oxides and Mo-based nanocomposites have been designed to show very efficient electro-catalysts for hydrogen and oxygen generation.
